This is a REALLY YUMMY bread! (((((HUGS))))) sandi
2 pound loaf
1 and 2/3 c. water
2 T. butter or margarine, softened (I use oil)
1/4 c. honey
2 tsp. salt
2 1/4 c. whole wheat flour
2 c. bread flour (I use regular)
2/3 c. flax seeds
2 t. active dry yeast
1.) Measure and add liquid ingredients to bread pan.
2.) Measure and add dry ingredients (except yeast) to the bread pan.
3.) Make a well in the flour for the yeast and pour yeast into well making sure it does not come in contact with the liquid.
and for my machine
4.) Snap baking pan into the breadmaker and close lid.
5.) Press “Select” button to choose the Whole Wheat setting.
6.) Press “Crust Color” and choose light, medium, or dark.
7.) Press “Start/Stop”.
ETA that I made this by this shared recipe recently, and it wasn’t nearly as soft as I remembered! *I think* I add more oil~like 1/4 to 1/3 c. in place of the 2 T.

I don’t have a bread machine, but I am going to try this anyway. I will let you know how it turns out.
