.) We recently visited a petting zoo and had just a wonderful day! While near the goats I let Hazel out of the stroller so she could pet their heads sticking through the fence if she wanted. She was holding an apple core, and a goat kept smelling around her~but he didn’t do anything. WELL! Then the biggest male goat there came trotting over from waaaayy across the large yard they were in, stuck his head through the fence, and went directly to her apple and snatched it up! ROFLOL! She just sat there, stuck her hand out again, and let out a “GIVE IT BACK“ kinda squeal!
.) http://www.homeschoolblogger.com/WaitingontheLord/320171/ gave me such a good laugh when I read it!
.) PBS has been running a show on Newton’s darkest secrets. While watching the preview one night my darling looks at me matter-of-factly and says, “You know he made that fig cookie.“ Hillybilly mama woke him up with hysterical laughter a good ten minutes later, as I finally got it! I’ve been laughin’ over that one ever since!
.) While at a bookstore recently Preston wanted something but said he hadn’t brought any money. He said he knew where to get it though, and with a point to Daddy he laughed, “That would be him!”
.) My darling’s Aunt Glo used to tell him that the reason umbrella’s bring bad luck when opened in the house is because when you break something, mama will whip your behind! LOL!
.) A funny from 4yo Preston: “When I’m a dad, I gonna take shower when I need one. I gonna shower when my hands are dirty.”
.) 9yo Al is a hypochondriac. Apparently he has heart problems, and blood carrier recently busted in in his ankle. I’m trying not to smirk just typing that one~LOL!
.) After a recent discussion on submission, my darling informed me that if I had something disrespectful to say to him, I wouldn’t say it. I’d choose to sing it instead! After thinking about it, he’s right! LOL! I remember one song I made up when we were newly married that I sang for a good thirty to forty-five minutes once. Halfway into it I couldn’t stop laughing! Finally from the bedroom he calls out with a roaring laugh, “Enough with the *blank* song!” (Please forgive me! I was singing about a donkey’s bottom followed by a hole, and I do know better! Thankfully I‘ve cleaned up said songs up since having children!)
.) If you do something to Hazel she doesn’t like, ie. Pick her up or take something from her, she begins to let out a string of frantic, “Uh oh! Uh oh! UH OH!“ ~giggle~

I love the name Hazel.
Oh I love that “Uh oh! Uh oh!” Sooooo sweet! Aren’t little girls precious? *grin*
