1.) Allen thinks I believe he has x-ray vision. I love my Al!
2.) A HILARIOUS conversation between my darling and Allen: “My body hurts EVERY DAY.” Your whole body? “Well, my shoulder hurts.” Yeah, your shoulder hurts, but you speared Preston FIVE TIMES today. That means you‘ve speared him TWENTY-FIVE TIMES this week! “But that was the other shoulder. And I only speared him twice today.” I have to hear this all the time~about how your foot hurts, but then it doesn’t add up~because then you kick Jamie! (OH those two have me cryin’ I’m laughin’ so hard! My whole is body shaking uncontrollably, and I can’t even hide it!)
3.) I can’t remember if I shared this already or not, but Hazel likes to read. Basically you give her a book, and she opens it up and screeches loudly as she turns the pages. WHY did I not remember this as my best friend’s son was getting married? Hazel started to become restless, and I handed her the program. I immediately had to take it back as she began to “read”! LOL!
4.) Hazel is soooo girlie, and I love it! She has this pink and white plaid shirt with three layers of ruffles from the chest to the hip and poofy elastic sleeves. OH how she loves that shirt and brings it to me to put on her! HA HA! At the library someone told her she looked pretty, and she totally changed her movements to flowing and prancing!
5.) One day we went to the store, and Preston had some change in his pocket. I’m talkin’ like, .35. He told my darling, “If I see a toy I want, it’s gonna be all mine buddy, ALL MINE!”
6.) One day on the playground the kids were playing “American Idol”. They chose judges and contestants and began playing it. Preston sang “O Master Let Me Walk With Thee” at his turn. How sweet!
7.) Today I was watching Preston as he played with Daddy. OH the wonder and joy in his little face! Children are SO INCREDIBLE! And I so enjoy watching each one of mine blossom and effloresce as they experience life….
8.) The guys at my darling’s work are at it again. They told one of the apprentices to go up to the fourth floor (when there are only three floors in the building) and look for T-R-double-E’s. They found him up on the third floor huddled over one of the boxes trying to figure it out… and this apprentice has worked there for a good while!
9.) My darling just came to me and shared that he learned what happened with his small bag of Doritos. It was left out on the table and snatched up by a Hazel. Apparently she went around sharing them with her brothers~and mixed in there was some lie about them belonging to Jamie. Who knew? LOL! For some reason, this just made me laugh, especially while hearing my darling’s comments like, “Apparently who the bag of Doritos belonged to was a mystery!” OH is he FUNNY!
10.) Hazar. It’s a term we use for the definite interruption of time alone for my darling and I.
11.) I can’t help but share this~I’ve wanted to for sooo long but didn’t wanna embarrass anybody. But I just don’t wanna forget it! LOL! When my Allen was playing football he was eight. He was also OBSESSED with cups. He was sure he needed one and was very disappointed that the coaches wife said one wasn’t necessary. He had gotten my darling to ask at a meeting. Every.single.outing we had together at a store that might have them meant a trip down the cup isle. “Will this fit me, Dad?” he’d continually ask my darling. OH Allen! You are WAY TOO CUTE!
12.) I know it is not Friday, and SiLLiNeSS! Is usually reserved for Friday, but the last two weeks I’ve wanted to share it in the evening but have fallen asleep before posting it! ACK!

Love the one about Hazel “reading” at the wedding! I can just imagine that – I probably would have been forgetful and done the same thing!
I love kids and all the stories. Aren’t kiddos great?
“If I see a toy I want, it’s gonna be all mine buddy, ALL MINE!”
I got a good chuckle out of this. It is funny how young kids are when they understand money is something they want… but don’t really understand its value. This seems to be universal ~ across all cultural and language barriers. I took my mom to a Chinese restaurant. There was a little boy behind the register that couldn’t have been more than two. He wasn’t talking yet… just pointing and whining. He toddled out to the gum machines… then toddled back behind the register where his mom was working. When the cash register drawer opened he immediately tried to reach for the cash. Held his little hands up and said, “Uh… uh… uh!” Too cute!
