1.) Please continue to pray for Misty and family since her husband’s fall from a roof, and please prayerfully consider sharing a monetary blessing her way as well.
2.) From Donna: The judge, only judge, to finalize the adoption has demanded that an ad be placed in the paper with the birth mothers (BM) name, date of baby’s birth. After that we have to wait 20 days before the adoption can be finalized (22 October).
PLEASE pray this doesn’t ause any problems. The BM will likely be very angry and may cause problems.
3.) From Amanda: My sister-in-law just spent 17 days in the hospital. She’s been home for a week, but is not doing a good job of caring for herself. She needs a great deal of prayer for her spiritual and physical health. She needs Christ.
4.) From Vicki: 1:Wisedom in teaching my girls to be God loving, God filled people!!2:God to provide for us financially, and for me not to worry about finances, but to believe that HE is providing for us!!5.) From Shari: Pray for my husband’s grandma(Eloise). Her blood pressure is 216 over something. She has a dr. appointment on Thurs. but doesn’t want to call he before that.6.) From Annika: my call is up here at this mission in 11 months and I am supposed to talk soon with someone from Agape Medical Missions in Russia about possibly becoming their jounralist after I hopefully finish my degree first. I would still have my youngest with me. I’m praying that the Lord goes before me on this one and opens and closes doors. Also praying for Agape (I just posted this on my blog) as they have the chance to buy the “apartment” they were using as part of their clinic but haven’t had great success fund raising for it yet. God’s provision for them: either through funding or a new space to continue their work. (At the moment their needs feel very personal as my work may be tied to theirs in a couple of years — perhaps sooner if I go over summers). Praying for YOU too!7.) From Stacey: I have a dear friend who’s newborn baby boy Noah is most likely going to have surgery in the morning for a permanent feeding tube. They are also awaiting results of some genetic testing to see what is causing his multiple problems. Please pray for health, healing and peace for this sweet family. Also pray for courage and faith for them to continue to put this situation in God’s hands.
8.) From Lea: I know I’m chiming in a bit late… but if you could pray for my son Josh who is a soldier fighting right outside of Baghdad I sure would appreciate it!!
9.) Your request goes here~leave me a comment!

Hi Sister Sandi — my call is up here at this mission in 11 months and I am supposed to talk soon with someone from Agape Medical Missions in Russia about possibly becoming their jounralist after I hopefully finish my degree first. hi sandi, the yarn is packaged up and going to the post office tomorrow! i forgot to tell you what it all is, on the card i enclosed, so here is a quick discription, and if you want more info you can email me.
1. alpaca — i balled it for you and the tag is stuck in it telling you exactly what it is. this is my favorite yarn in the world and it is such an honor to share it with you.
2. wool–hand spun and hand dyed. there are two skiens of this, but you will need to ball it before you use it. wrap it around your knees or a chair and start a ball going. it doewsn’t take olong to do it.
3. wool blend–it’s pink and i thought you’d like it to make something for hazel.
4. leftovers of wool–green and red. just some leftovers i had from projects and thought you might like to play with it.
5. leftover cotton–navy. again, just leftovers and i thought you might like to play with it.
6. fuzzy stuff–again something fun to make a scarf for you and hazel with.
i think that is it. again, just ask me if you have any questions. enjoy it, and have fun knitting.
blessings and love, mari (aka the yarn snob)
