I crocheted blankets for my two girls, and am currently working on one for my nephew. I chose to double crochet the girls' and am doing single crochet for my nephew's. I used verigated (mixed color) yarn for all three, so thought the simple pattern would bring out the colors more, and I am very pleased with the results.
