Completed Projects to date:
1.) A good 10 dish/wash cloths (ch 31, hdc a square, attach white and sc around, then sc, ch 3, dc same stitch, skip a stitch, repeat)
2.) 7 granny squares
3.) 1 baby earflap hat (from SnB) and matching Mary Jane Booties
4.) 1 infant cap, Mary Jane booties, and infant mitts I came up with myself~inspired by the cap
5.) 2 granny style hats for Hazel and I
6.) 3 earflap hats~Allen, and matching pink/white/brown for Hazel and I. We really needed hats! (from SnB~adult pattern altered to allow for hanging braids)
WIP’s still on my hook:
1.) Hazel’s dress from Crochet Today (Jul/Aug issue) which was basically completed and frogged~just too busy to pick it back up right now
2.) Dish/Wash cloths
Still trying to get to:
1.) Lots more dishcloths (and please let me interject here that I wanna make the world dishcloths. If I had the time and the means I’d be putting one on every neighbor’s door and sending them to all my little birdies and each and ever person that’s ever nice to me and everyone I know, etc….)
2.) Earflap hats (from SnB) for Jamie and Preston
3.) Slippers for Jamie, Hazel, and myself
4.) A hat for my darling (SSSHHHH! I’ll probably do the same ribbed pattern I used for the slippers until it’s big enough and then sew up one side and the top… or I’ll use the earflap pattern with no earflaps and make it longer… We’ll see! ETA that I’ve decided to make the man’s hat from Crochet Today’s Nov/Dec issue~*without* the ball. That would NEVER be worn by my darling~LOL!)
5.) Fingerless gloves for my darling (SSSSHHHHHH!)
6.) Plarn seat covers for my kitchen chairs (just crocheting squares with ties)
7.) Plarn rugs (still hafta make the plarn!)
8.) Possibly hats to sell. We’ve been approached by sooo many people about our hats! Two people have approached me to buy. I just hafta get through Christmas first….
Something helpful I learned from Dot’s slipper pattern: I love chaining with a hook one size larger than the project.
