Last week was very busy preparing for Sunday’s service to be held in our home, and can I tell you? What a HUMONGOUS difference a little contact paper behind the stove can make! OH how FUN! I also hung a shelf in the kitchen and wondered what to put on it, as I’ve learned from Emilie Barnes to use what you already have. Well let’s see… I had a pretty, cobalt blue bottle… and I had YARN! LOLOL! Ever think to decorate with YARN? It turned out just perfect~the yarn is partially in a ball and then a strand goes into a clump around this pretty glass bottle. The yarn is orange-red and light orange, and though it all sounds strange it actually looks pretty neat and matches very well. YAY!
We also got a light blue bathroom rug set from Dollar General, and on the kitchen table were “flowers” picked by the kids. It was actually what I’ve been told is poke salad~LOLOL~but it was picked with so much love. ~smile~ I shared that I had been practicin’ my dulcimer song, and y’all~I TOTALLY BOMBED! Praise God I was among friends and am not at all embarrassed, but it really was bad! I just know it’s because I didn’t practice once on the phone for Amanda, which I really intended to do and just never fit it all in. I’ll keep on practicin’ this song so I can add it to my rep… How do you spell that word? So Amanda, that call might still be comin’!
It was such a treat to have everybody here though~WOOHOOO! We had plenty of food~turkey/spinach meatloaf, ramen noodle salad (Only with broccoli slaw~MMMMMMM!), colorful potato salad, mashed potatoes, green beans, corn pudding, and cake. OH I know Hazel turned two in April, but we were throwing up and never did a cake. So we all sang “Happy Birthday” and let her blow out two candles. It really was CUTE!
Anybody wanna visit while we’re still kinda tidy? (((((HUGS))))) sandi

Your house may be tidy, but mine is NOT. My husband and daughter are gone this week, so the boy and I are living wild and carefree.
And by the way, it is my turn to call you. I was going to anyway to see how your Sunday went. Tomorrow…

Hey Sandi.
I was thinking boutcha because I got some LANAcare nursing pads. I was having a problem about once a month. I’ve had those for 3 months and not a single ounce of pain! WOOHOO. Thanks for telling me about that 2 years ago. I’m so glad you did, and I”m so glad I remembered!

Sure, I’ll come over. As soon as I get the teleporter working, lol! I like your bottle and yarn decoration idea.
