Outside My Window…
The trees are bending in the wind. It should be bright and clear just long enough to dry a load of laundry….
I am thinking…
I had formed a plan a while back for Father’s Day for my darling, and now I can’t remember it! ACK!
I am thankful for…
The LORD working in me. I can see that some of my thought patterns are changing, and it’s with no effort on my part. That when we actually rest in Christ and stop striving we really do experience good fruit, even though that seems impossible in our minds without our effort.
From the kitchen…
Pancakes are cookin’! Mine has slivered almonds and semi-sweet chocolate chips! Allen and Jamie’s have whipped cream….
I am wearing…
Pink capris, a lighter pink Tee, my hair’s in a ponytail, and looky there~I’ve forgotten my shoes again!
I am creating…
A Jasie baby blanket~my first commissioned project~and it’s almost done!
I am going…
To drop off a Renoir coloring book and a pack of colored pencils to a friend at the hospital.
I am reading…
The Bible, the newest “Crochet Today“, Heaven by Randy Alcorn, and A Woman’s Guide to Spiritual Warfare.
I am hoping…
And praying to rule my spirit forevermore! That my children will turn out okay in spite of me! That they will grow up and love me (and the LORD!) instead of harbor bitterness over my mistakes!
I am hearing…
The children chattering over their pancakes~I’m still cookin’!
Around the house…
We are holding our own with the downstairs~WOOHOOO! SO good for us! It’s time to tackle the upstairs. We have new neighbors across the street who are expecting their first child, a daughter, in September. How sweet!
One of my favorite things…
Is ICE CREAM! And WE HAVE SOME!
A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week:
We kinda fly by the seat of our pants around here, so the plans will occur at will! None to speak of outside the ordinary now….
(((((HUGS))))) sandi~who has now wasted SOOO much time trying to get this to come up in a readable format! ARGH!

It’s definitely readable and worth reading! You made me smile.
“and looky there ~ I’ve forgotten my shoes again”
I don’t know why, but that statement simply cracked me up!!!
And you’ve made me really hungry for pancakes. Thanks a lot! *grin*
I’m sorry that I didn’t return a comment to you a week ago when I should have. My Dad sent me that Heaven book. I read some of it, but it is a big one. I have trouble finishing books that I start reading. Hey. We fly by the seat of our pants around here, too. I just couldn’t tell you what we are going to be doing this coming weekend.
