FOR TODAY, July 9, 2008…
Outside My Window… It is a drizzly day. I love the sound of it dripping on our tin roof!
I am thinking… About weight loss. About faith. About how selfish I am in serving ME. About how we become what we practice. About not having much of a support system should one of us become really ill.
I am thankful for… God knowing exactly what we can and can’t handle.
From the kitchen… Turkey vegetable soup is smellin’ good on the stove. In attempt to better our diet I have incorporated a daily soup/salad lunch~much to my children’s chagrin!
I am wearing… My new Enell! *Can’t wait* to post a review!!!! It seems I have gotten lotion or something in my eye, and I keep tearing up.
I am creating… Thinking about this bag.
I am going… I don’t know where I’m going. Sometimes I feel like I’ve lost the vision! That’s not entirely true, but I am too easily distracted.
I am reading… A book of BEAUTIFUL crochet patterns from Hungary that I got from the library.
I am hoping… To really grow in Godly maturity and wisdom.
I am hearing… Hazel and Preston “cooking” together with all my pots and pans in the living room~TOO CUTE!
Around the house… My darling hung a wooden “Welcome Friends” banner with an apple in the middle HIGH above my kitchen sink. We got it from the thrift store, and it‘s PERFECT! Goes great with the contact paper we put up….
One of my favorite things… Is our fourth of July celebration! The food, the craft, the readings (which I have yet to add to my page~ACK!), the AWESOME water gun fight, the watermelon seed spitting contest, the music, the Wal-Mart fireworks… One my very favorite parts of it’s history surrounds the origins of the song “Yankee Doodle”.
A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week: Going to see the doc. My back is better, but I have some numbness and burning in the nether-region. I’m assuming is a pinched nerve. Hazel has somehow picked up a nasty too that I fear is making the rounds~some kind of mite or something… scratch… scratch… I LOVE our Dr. Petrizzle, but I feel like we’ve visited a lot recently, and I really do hope we won’t hafta see him for another year!

Oh, I am not sure how to add a picture. I used to have a wordpress, but forget the inner working. You could just make a place with the link to the study. That would help just fine. Thank you for your support!

Enjoyed your daybook. Hope your back gets better! I’ll also pray that you find out where you are going.
Ooo, that crocheted bag is so, so cute. I can understand why you are thinking of making it.
Thanks for sharing the real you. I’d much rather have and authentic friend than a perfect one anyday.
I have this picture in my mind of what you look like. Sometimes I’m out and about and see someone and think, “oh, she looks like Sandi.” Isn’t that funny? If we don’t ever meet face to face on this earth, I look forward to seeing you when we reach HOME.
Love,
amanda
