Here are some things I’ve been working on:
Hats for my darling’s birthday tomorrow (and this peanutbutter cupcake recipe is in the oven now~I’ll make a chocolate buttercream icing in the morning. ETA these were heavier than a cupcake and kinda like a brownie, so I opted for a chocolate pan frosting. OH YUM!!!!!), just SC in the round:

A hat and matching cowgirl booties for Frances~hopefully a matching kimono sweater will come later. I would LOVE to be able to crochet booties or slippers that don’t look like two right feet~LOL! Ruffle Brimmed Granny Style Skull Cap pattern~Hazel has one to match and I might end up with one too, cowgirl booties are from Crochet Today’s Sep/Oct 2008 issue:

A thick bonnet and matching Mary Jane booties~working on a matching bunting, and I really had to work on this pic for it to show up~NOT a professional job! (Bonnet from Crochet Today’s Sep/Oct 2007 issue, Mary Jane’s found here.)

Three wool soakers for Frances (Free, online link to Tickle Turdle pattern no longer available):

WHEW! I’m SO GLAD I printed hard copies of these patterns since they have disappeared!! (((((HUGS))))) sandi

Sandi,
You have been very busy crocheting haven’t you? I love all the hats and the soakers are so cute and useful too. Thanks for sharing all your wonderful projects. God bless,
Cindy
So cute!I really like the purple set.
Nice work, as always.
Oh, and happy birthday to your darling!
Dear Sandi,
These are really lovely. You have clever hands. : )
Happy Birthday to your “darling” – I assume it’s your husband. May God shower him with abundant blessings and grant him his heart’s desire.
Quick update: Eugen and Christian are doing very well and recovering quickly. Thanks so much for all your prayers. God be with each of you.
Love,
Ai Boon
What nice crochet items. I did not know that you can crochet like that. Happy Birthday to your “darling.” God bless you Sandi, your a sweet person.
Everything looks soo wonderful!! I love it all but most especially the cowgirl boots and the hat. So cute!
OMG! Those soakers are the cutest things I’ve seen!!! How difficult were they to make? I’m a beginner…but they are soooooo cute…I might have to try to make a pair for someone!
Thanks for stopping by my place. Great to meet another crocheter!
Oh, I love the thick bonnet and matching Mary Jane booties! You picked the perfect yarn. Baby is gonna be styling when she goes out in those.
Thanks for your sweet message on my blog the other day. I appreciate you!

Oh these are adorable! I’m trying to teach myself to knit by doing washcloths. I think crocheting is easier. ;D
The cowgirl boots are too cute!!
Hello there from a fellow diaperswapper…
I was wondering, do those turdle wraps fit under pants? I was going to make longies, but if those fit under pants, they are too cute not to try… however mine would not come out as professional as your did. They are awesome!
God Bless,
Shellie
HI Shellie! My baby is not yet here, so I’ve not had the chance to actually use them. I am planning on using them under pants and everything though! I like not having to completely undress baby in order to change a dipe (you know, and slide her “go” down her legs), and I like that these should fit multiple sizes rather than having to make so many different sizes for a pull-up soaker. (((((HUGS))))) sandi
I love to see what you’ve made for her so far. Those cowgirl boots are so much fun!
Hi. Have you received your healing? Just want to let you know you are in my prayers and to share another new healing song with you:
