So if I’m honest, it’s not been the easiest of seasons. NOT a sob story~certainly pregnancy hormones must play a part~and sadly I haven’t handled all of it with grace.
It’s in these times that God sends little blessings along the way to lift you up again, and I am ever so grateful! A dear blog reader contacted me, because she wanted to bless me with some yarn from her friend of Springtree Road (if you love yarn you HAFTA visit this shop! ETA that I had just a little bit left, and this skein was 122 yards). Her message was so sweet and encouraging, she had personally picked out a certain color for Frances (“Elaborate”), and I couldn’t say no. It arrived almost immediately, and ~SWOON~! I am used to the cheapie stuff and could SO be a yarn snob! LOL! Immediately I set to pettin’ and smellin’ it~OH it was LUSCIOUS and YUMMY!!! *THANK YOU!* my dear, dear friend for thinking of me so! I don’t deserve it and can’t even imagine what prompted such kindness!!! I LOVE IT!
I found the perfect hat pattern, and as I worked with this yarn I so enjoyed the way it changed textures as it flowed through my fingers, watching the color patterns develop, OH and how fantastic it felt! I even had enough for booties and just CAN’T WAIT to see our Frances lookin’ PRECIOUS in these, as I am just THRILLED with this little set!!!! With a full to overflowing heart, thank you, thank you, *THANK YOU!* (((((HUGS))))) sandi

beautiful! the yarn and what you created out of it
OMG, you can really crochet. I lie to crochet to, but I don’t know how to do booties to well. The yarn is so beautiful. I’m glad you got a blessing, all good mother’s like you deserve it
. Take care.
Oh excuse the bad spelling. I meant to say, “I like to crochet.”
Yum, that yarn looks scrumptious. I want to touch.
I love the way the yarn has pooled in the booties. They look like they’re all over flowers.
Awwwwwwww!!!!!
